Rose Melberg has had a consistently great musical career - Tiger Trap, The Softies, Gaze, Brave Irene, her own fantastic solo material, and of course, Go Sailor. The formula is simple here - write a dozen or so breezy indie-pop songs perfect for summer, have two women with gorgeous voices sing over them, then break up and leave behind an undeniable body of work. It’s sunny, I’m dressed like a real dad, and I’m in a good mood so I’m going to listen to this all day.
