Floating di Morel - “Astonish Obviate” from More Memory than Now
There is an episode of Seinfeld where Elaine is dating a guy who zones out every time “Desperado” by the Eagles comes on. Though it’s not quite the same paralyzing feeling, I feel a sense of tranquility whenever “Astonish Obviate” comes on. It’s so simple and sparse yet exudes so much calm warmth. It’s the perfect song for nighttime and that moment just before you fall asleep.
